Dembele, there’s only two Dembeles.
Except now there’s three of them, with a new Dembele emerging at Scottish champions Celtic.
One of the Dembeles, Mousa, is 29 and plays for Tottenham; the other, Moussa, is 20 and scoring goals for fun for Celtic in the Scottish Premiership and Champions League.
And the new one? Sadly he’s not called Mousssa, but other than that the omens look good. Karamoko Dembele is an attacker tipped for the top who has just been handed his debut in a Celtic Under-20 match – at the ripe old age of 13.
The Ivory Coast kid Karamoko Dembele – no relation to Moussa, or indeed Mousa – was only born in 2003 yet has been deemed good enough to play against guys SEVEN years older than him.
He came on for the last nine minutes of his side’s 3-1 win over Hearts at Cappielow Park in Greenock on Monday night. We can’t wait to see the two Dembeles on the same pitch.
Footage of him shows him drifting by players at his own age group like Lionel Messi against Celtic’s senior side in the Champions League.
Remember the name, Dembele. Moussa and Karamoko.
