There was utter bedlam after Raheem Sterling struck a 97th-minute winner to secure Manchester City all three points against Bournemouth.

The England man went to celebrate with the away support who streamed out of the stand, and stewards and police attempted to bring some order to the corner of the Vitality Stadium.

Their attempts led to some interesting pictures of grappling between players and officials.

The chief protagonists on the City side were Sergio Aguero and debut boy Benjamin Mendy.

It looked a rather serious incident but Mendy, ever ready to make a quip on social media, gave a rather hilarious explanation for the fracas.

For the uninitiated, Mendy is, of course, referring to his fine for parking in a taxi rank to get a quick Nandos last week.
