Incredibly, Liverpool were favourites to win away at Manchester United with some bookmakers ahead of Saturday’s early kick-off at Old Trafford.

But those odds were left looking a bit silly when Marcus Rashford marked his first Premier League start of 2018 with two goals in the space of 10 first-half minutes.

Rashford hasn’t been seen much since the signing of Alexis Sanchez but with Anthony Martial missing, he took his chance to shine.

There was a common thread across both goals: Romelu Lukaku having Dejan Lovren for absolute toast in the build-up.
