Manchester United fans woke up on Tuesday morning to news that Paul Pogba could be set to leave the club, just two seasons after his record-breaking £89 million move to Old Trafford.

The Frenchman has failed to spark consistently since his move from Juventus, with his match-winning exploits in the derby comeback over Manchester City soured by a hopeless display in the 1-0 defeat to relegation-haunted West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.

The Daily Mail broke an exclusive late on Monday claiming Jose Mourinho was preparing to let Pogba leave the club along with Anthony Martial, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian.

It’s not the first time Pogba’s future has come under scrutiny. Earlier in April, Pep Guardiola revealed City were offered the 25-year-old in January.
