Serena Williams has seen and done it all in tennis.

With 23 Grand Slam titles and four Olympic golds in her locker over the past 19 years, the 36-year-old American could retire tomorrow and be remembered as the greatest women’s player of all time.

Yet even Serena probably did not imagine she would be back on the main stage at Wimbledon so soon again this weekend.

After all, she only gave birth to her first child Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr. last September after being forced to battle deadly blood clots in the immediate aftermath of her pregnancy.

Williams is no ordinary tennis champion. Despite losing 6-3 6-3 to Angelique Kerber in the final on Saturday, social media was quick to pay tribute to Serena, who said she was representing the mums in the world.
