Training with an actual goat would be pretty heard, but one Maria Sharapova was chuffed to get two minutes with the GOAT in Rome.
Sharapova continued her Italian Open preparations in style when having a knock around on the practice courts with Rafael Nadal.
“So nervous,” Sharapova said in her tweet. Despite being a five-time Grand Slam champion herself, and a three-time winner in Rome, she clearly cherished the time spent with Nadal, who is chasing an eighth title in the Italian capital.
Sharapova is in second-round action against Ashleigh Barty tomorrow, with Nadal up against either Fernando Verdasco or Damir Dzumhur.
