It was an infuriating moment for Joe Perry.

Four balls from completing a maximum 147 break at the Northern Ireland Open, he managed to snooker himself behind the pink after potting the brown on Wenesday.



He was obviously distraught, but still managed to keep his composure to progress in the tournament and keep alive his hopes of taking the title.

Now in the fourth round, we thought it was a good time to help him exorcise memories of that near-miss.

We sent Eurosport’s Colin Murray and Desmond Kane to set up a snooker table exactly as it was before the botched attempt… and then handed Perry the cue.
