Every dad thinks their son is the most talented boy in the world. But maybe Dirk Kuyt would be right to think that.
The former Liverpool, Feyenoord and Netherlands forward was a hard worker and tactically astute, but he would never have claimed to be the most skillful player in the world.
Yet, if a Twitter video the 36-year-old has posted of his son is anything to go by, the next Kuyt generation could be even more special:
Four defenders beaten with pace, trickery and intent, and then that thumping drive.
Dare we say it’s reminiscent of a certain Barcelona-based Argentine?
I think we just did!
(Let’s gloss over the keeper though… ‘never get beaten at your near post‘ and all that).
