Another week, another Gerard Pique Barcelona-Real Madrid controversy.

As reported by Eurosport columnist Pete Jenson in the Daily Mail, the Barcelona defender was seen shouting at La Liga’s ‘Real Madrid-supporting’ president, Javier Tebas, after his side’s underwhelming 1-1 draw with Villarreal.

A week after causing a stir amongst fans by comparing the performances of referees for Barcelona and Real Madrid, Pique was furious after his team were denied a penalty in the second half when Bruno Soriano stuck an arm out to deny Lionel Messi a certain goal.

According to Jenson, Pique shouted the following in the direction of the directors’ box, where Tebas was watching the match:

“Did you see that? Yes, you, you!”

A video of the incident was tweeted out and caused quite a furore:

Images of the incident, taken by fans, quickly proved very popular on social media…

Tebas was a guest of honour because Villarreal were inaugurating a new name for the Estadio de la Ceramica, previously called El Madrigal.

Barcelona vice-president Jordi Mestre added further fuel to the fire started by Pique by saying:

“The handball (from Bruno) was deliberate.”

What on earth will Pique do next?
