It was raining world records at the USATF Masters Indoor Championships on Saturday as two sprinters with a combined age of 202 – unbelievably that’s not a typo – took centre-stage.

First, 100-year-old Orville Rogers set a men’s age group record by clocking 19.13 seconds for 60 metres.

And then 102-year-old Julia ‘Hurricane’ Hawkins posted 24.79s over the same distance in the women’s 100+ category.

So if you’re struggling for inspiration right now, get this picture of Orville and Julia on your bedroom wall ASAP.

Age is just a number!
