There’s been no time for the dust to settle at White Hart Lane, with demolition work swiftly getting underway one day after Tottenham’s final game at the stadium.

As the BBC video shows below, the pitch is already being dug up, while the seats – the ones that weren’t removed by fans – are slowly piling up on the sidelines.

After 118 years at the famous stadium, Tottenham are set to move to Wembley next season while they wait for the completion of their new ground on the same site.

And the powers-that-be at Tottenham clearly felt like there was no point in hanging around, with work beginning less than 24 hours after their 2-1 victory over Man Utd.
