You can always rely on Roy Keane to put a dampener on things.
Liverpool fans must have been buzzing after watching their team destroy Spartak Moscow 7-0 at Anfield on Wednesday to secure their place in the last 16 of the Champions League.
But despite the impressive scoreline and their recent run of form which has seen them plunder 32 goals in just eight games, the former Manchester United captain was not that impressed:
“Their attacking players certainly enjoyed it but the big tests are yet to come for Liverpool. Clearly they’ve beaten these so called lesser teams, but they’ve beaten nobody yet,” he said.
“It’s lovely to watch but they wouldn’t get that time and space against a decent team, it’s as simple as that.”
He even managed to get in a little dig at Arsenal.
